REDOUT. Too Many Names. Too Many Hashtags

#REDOUT with AAC

Calling all DELTAs!!!

We are living in a time of anxiety, uncertainty, and sadness, but instead of our nation banding together, racist actions and police brutality still prevail. In a time where taking to the streets is not the safest with the COVID-19 pandemic, let's take to the virtual information highway and make a statement.

On Wednesday June 3rd, please change your profile pictureon all of your social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, and/or Instagram) to the attached picture and create a post on the various sites (Facebook, Twitter, and/or Instagram) of the attached picture and the hashtags “#RedOut #SocialAction.”

Show our impact and let's go viral as we show our support for our Black brothers and sisters who are experiencing racist incidents and living with the grief of losing a loved one to police brutality. We want to show the world how much of a presence we as members of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. have around the world and show solidarity as social change agents. We want to Red Out all social media platforms to remind the world that we are here, we are many, and we will not accept police brutality or the criminalization of 'living while Black.'

Thank you,
