There will be a mandatory parade entrant meeting at Dyess Park on Thursday, January 14, at 6:00 pm. A representative from each group must be present to receive your live numbers at that time.

What: 2016 Martin Luther King Jr. Parade

Theme: “America’s Journey For Justice”

Time: Line up at 9:00 AM; Parade Begins at 11:00 AM

Where: See Parade Route Below

The Parade will start at Dyess Park Community Center, located at 902 James Brown Blvd. The Parade will proceed south on James Brown Blvd., then west onto Wristsboro Road, north onto Augusta Ave., east onto Laney Walker Blvd., north onto 11th street, and east onto D’Antignac Street.

Entry Cost:

ALL PAYMENTS MUST BE PAID BY CHECK; MONEY ORDER OR CERTIFIED CHECK.

NO CASH WILL BE ACCEPTED.
